Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin has been an actress across Canada and New Zealand for over a decade. Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand-born actress. Born in Winnipeg however, she was raised in Wellington the city where she was born, she made her first acting appearance as a character in The Piano. In this romantic drama, she was 11 years old, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin spelled out Anna Helene Paquin was born in Winnipeg, Canada on the 24th of July, 1982. The Canadian born actress is also a actress from New Zealand. The role of Flora McGrath - the daughter of the Scottish muffled pianist from New Zealand at mid-19th Century was a part she won when she attended an open audition. At nine her age, she was a novice or had none experience with acting. As a teenager, she moved to America. Paquin was the main character in the film Fly Away Home in 1996 as well as a brief appearance as Jane Eyre as only a child. Paquin was a part-time actress in the 1997 TV movie adaptation to Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. Also, she played queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She played teenagers on Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000) and A Walk on the Moon (2000). The actress played the role of a groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
