Meagan and Kara

Meagan Good's maternal grandmother Tyra was just a teenager at the time she was employed in Panorama City as a manager and father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman from LAPD. She was raised with her three siblings at home in Canyon Country in California and began acting in the age of four. At the beginning of her career she appeared as an actor on programs on television like Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. At the age of thirteen, she was cast as the character Friday in the year 1995. First gaining attention in 1997 with her performance as Cisely batiste (a troubled teenage girl) on Eve's Bayou, for which she received two nominations, as well as an N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good started with small roles on film and on TV for a few years after which she moved on to more mature roles at the start of the 2000s. The actress played Nina on Cousin Skeeter which was a Nickelodeon T.V. Between 1998 and 2001, she was a character on Nina on the Nickelodeon television program Cousin Skeeter. She also landed minor role in the films House Party: Down to the final minute, as well as 3 Strikes. In 2003, she played Vanessa Scott in My Wife and Kids. She starred in D.E.B.S the action comedy movie which resulted in her being nominated as Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. Originally from Texas Killmer was an undergraduate at Baylor University in Waco Texas and graduated with an B.F.A. The year she graduated, Killmer graduated with a degree in performing art. She began her screen career with If you Can Dream, a web series. Kara Killmer's career on screen began in 2010 when she appeared in the first episode of Simon Fuller's Hulu TV series If I Can Dream. The series on Hulu called If I Can Dream is centered around the lives of a bunch of artists who reside in Hollywood California.
