Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and songwriter. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions in the One Direction band. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994. He is the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where he created his own band, composed of three classmates, which was dubbed White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they took home the trophy. Although he has always expressed an interest in music but despite his enthusiasm for it, he wished to pursue a career as a lawyer and physiotherapist. To support the family he worked an hour or so working in a bakery. Harry Styles, in 2010, auditioned to be on The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. Due to this, his group had to be disbanded. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part of a new group named One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in 2010. The five-piece band was sponsored by Simon Cowell and performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the best contenders for the competition. The band was in the third place after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which took home the prize. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell was a millionaire as part of a deal for One Direction.
