Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the America's sweetheart when she took home American Idol in the first season. The win not only catapulted her to fame and acclaim, but it also earned the singer a multi-album contract in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. In the years since her debut in the series, she has released a number of albums. Of those albums three made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The others were close to reaching the top position. It's a major stars to come out of American Idol. As she achieved success she tried out different topics and styles of music, often co-writing her songs in accordance of her own feelings. To acknowledge her talents and uniqueness, she has received a lot of praise and awards. In particular, she's won Grammy Awards three times. Grammy Award three times.
